 Beginnings: Established as a 501(c)3 non-profit in 2009

  • Programs: Science Fair, National History Day, Renaissance Visual and Performing Arts In-School Programs, Teacher Innovation Grants, Scholarships and the High Notes Gala Program and Revue
  • 25% of ASD students participated (5,332) in ASDF programs in 2016-2017
  • Nearly $2 million raised for Allentown students since the formation of the foundation

  • Continue to build a strong, active board of directors;
  • Develop new strategic plan with goals for 2017-2020 with an emphasis on science, music, and literacy;
  • Dive deeper with effective programs for larger impact, student-focused;
  • Seek larger and more connected roles for foundations and individuals;
  • Develop more social media practices for fundraising;
  • Build a stronger administrative team (full-time);
  • Assist in growth of alumni associations;
  • Seek greater endowments for more scholarships.
