Embassy Bank Contributes $15,000 in EITC Funding for Foundation Programs

As a major EITC grantor for many years, Embassy Bank once again came through for the students of Allentown. We thank Kristin Wannisky, Vice President of Marketing for Embassy Bank (holding the check) for stopping by the ASD Foundation (ASDF) board meeting on Thursday morning, February 1, and presenting a gift in the amount of $15,000.

Those ASDF board members seen in this photo are, left to right: Laurie Hackett, Air Products; John Hughes, Dieruff Alumni Association; Susan L. Williams, ASDF Executive Director; Tonya Harris, PPL Corporation; Wannisky; Anthony M. Muir, Esq., ASDF Vice President; Dr. John Stevens, St. Luke’s University Health Network; Dan Bosket, CACLV; Marci Martinez-Howey, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley; Michele Pessina, Educator; ASD Superintendent Thomas Parker; and David Wildonger, Acting Deputy Superintendent.

The funds will be used to support Foundation programs in music and art. More than 5,530 students participated in ASD Foundation programs last year, and in 2017-2018 school year, there are plans to involve almost 10,000 in enrichment programs this school year.
